Thomas Jefferson High School’s TJ REVERB CubeSat

March 1st, 2017: Ragnarok is pleased to announce that Thomas Jefferson High School (TJHS) of Alexandria, Virginia has been awarded their TJ REVERB NASA CubeSat CSLI flight to be deployed from the space station. The educational mission consists of exciting STEM radio experiments for satellite tracking and APRS amateur radio for satellite control. In an effort to promote the STEM education out-reach and ensure the high school’s mission is a success, Ragnarok is proud to donate an entire guidance, navigation, and control unit to the TJ REVERB mission cause. In addition to the donated satellite hardware, originally designed for the 6U Lunar Mission from the NASA Lunar CubeQuest Competition, Ragnarok is providing technical expertise and satellite design mentoring to the students involved.
